In the summer of 2006, Paul attended an improv workshop and within 8 weeks he was selected to be part of the first ever Student Improv team in Charlotte, NC and he never looked back. Over the past 3 years he has performed improv and sketch comedy for corporations, hospitals, birthday parties, charitable events, and festivals.
Also, Paul is the owner of Briarcliff Hall, a private one-on-one SAT tutorial. Initially, he had just 3 students who attended his course; however, Paul fully believed in his unique style of teaching and word of mouth and within one year, enrollment exceeded more than 150 students.
In the beginning of 2009, Paul put his two loves together (Teaching and Improvising) and formed Over The Counter improv. With more than 17 years of private teaching experience, improv was a natural extension of his outgoing teaching methodology. Again, he started off with 2 students in his inaugural class; his 2nd session was almost full, and every class since has had a waiting list.
