OTC improv
"Developing tomorrow's leaders today"
Our approach
First, we want students to have fun because learning is much easier in a playful environment. The improv games we have selected have been culled from thousands of games into the 23 that are best suited to help students with self-confidence, humor, creativity, and listening skills. Second, we make sure our workshop gets everyone on their feet to boost the energy in the room and to foster inclusivity. Finally, we use basic science and personal stories to help students realize what is going on in their brain and to connect with others in the room and make new friendships all while having fun. As comedian Victor Borge once said, “Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.”
Our approach echoes the STEAM philosophy “Hands-on learning allows students to think creatively and use innovation to find unique solutions to common problems – ultimately making our world a better place”.
